The Reporting Desk

I follow the question past the first answer—until the reporting reveals what matters, who carries it and what the record must not lose.

At the anchor desk or in the field, I begin the same way: listen closely, notice what others move past and stay with the story long enough to understand what it is asking of us.

The Current Run

The stories gathering around me now have a room of their own.

Some stories arrive as assignments. Others keep gathering around a life until they demand a form of their own. This is the working archive for family memory, witnessed history and questions I cannot responsibly leave behind.

Move the work forward

The desk stays open.

The desk stays open for consequential work with a clear reason to exist. Commission a reported story, build a values-aligned partnership or help fund the records, travel, interviews and production time independent reporting demands.
